The first fundraiser of the year is our Fried Chicken Dinner, normally held in March.
We are proud to serve a generous portion (one-half) of golden-skinned fried chicken along with baked beans, coleslaw, a roll and dessert.
Tickets can normally be purchased in advance from any club member. Several businesses in our community such as Lawrence Pharmacy and W. F. Robins, CPA also sell tickets. Additionally, tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
Our guests can enjoy the meal and fellowship with their friends and neighbors in our clubhouse or meals can be taken home.
The 2019 dinner will be on Saturday; March 9 at the Ruritan Log Cabin. Your ticket will allow you to enjoy one-half chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, roll and dessert (while they last). You can purchase your $8.00 ticket from any Ruritan member, Lawrence Pharmacy or W. F. Robins CPA office. You may also purchase your ticket right here on our site. Eat-in or take-out is available - we hope to see you there!
